The history of Suspensys mingles with the development of the automotive industry in Brazil, since Suspensys started its business over half century ago, through Randon, with the manufacturing of axles, followed by brakes, trailers and semi-trailers.
In 1997, with the evolution of the transport sector in Brazil and the growth of the automotive industry, the sector in Randon that was responsible for the manufacturing of axles and suspensions was spun off to form a separate company: Suspensys. The new company was established from a joint-venture between ArvinMeritor Inc., from the United States, and Randon S/A. to be a global company, of which both partners are in the development and production of axles and suspensions for commercial vehicles.
The activities of the new company started in 2002. However, the company was officially opened in the following year.
Today, Suspensys is the market leader in the production of suspension systems, axles, beams, hubs, brake drums and supports for commercial vehicles. A key concern for Suspensions is the safety and welfare of those traveling on roads. After all, the state-of-the-art technology must serve the most important components in the world: the people.
